Plan to spend time making new connections and building relationships in a fun setting with like-minded Women in STEM. We spend a little more time on self-introductions so others can get to know more about you too!

Each virtual networking session includes a guided conversation around a specific topic led by a guest facilitator, plus free-style networking time among participants.

Everyone is encouraged and welcome to contribute to the conversation.

This month's guided conversation entitled, “Thinking Like an Entrepreneur,” will be led by Emma Gilmore Kieran, Principal, Pilot Peak Consulting, LLC.

In today's rapidly changing world, the ability to think like an entrepreneur is more critical than ever. This presentation will delve into the entrepreneurial mindset, exploring the key traits and strategies that drive innovation, resilience, and success. Participants will learn how to identify opportunities, take calculated risks, and leverage creativity to overcome challenges. Whether you're launching a new venture, driving growth within an organization, or looking to enhance your problem-solving skills, this session will provide valuable insights and practical tools to help you think and act like an entrepreneur.

About Emma - With over 20 years of fundraising experience, Emma started Pilot Peak Consulting in 2014. She has worked with over 100 nonprofits on a broad range of projects. Prior to founding Pilot Peak Consulting, Emma was a consultant for two national consulting firms, as well as a frontline fundraiser. Emma holds an MA from Columbia University, an MPA from American University, and a BA from Connecticut College. A native Pittsburgher and recent southern transplant, Emma is an avid marathoner, four-time Ironman triathlete, and
enjoys being outside with her husband and labradoodles.
