    STEM-UP NETWORK Virtual Networking

Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 12:00 PM until 1:00 PMEastern Standard Time UTC -05:00

Plan to spend time making new connections and building relationships in a fun setting with like-minded Women in STEM. We spend a little more time on self-introductions so others can get to know more about you too!

Each monthly virtual networking session includes a guided conversation around a specific topic led by a guest facilitator, plus free-style networking time among participants.

Everyone is encouraged and welcome to contribute to the conversation.

January’s guided conversation entitled, “Own Your Journey: Embrace Your Story, Empower Your Growth,” will be led by Hillary Miller, Learning Executive – Physician Services, HCA Healthcare.

This session is about exploring your unique origin story and understanding how the experiences that shaped you have led to where you are today. It’s an opportunity to reflect on the power of your own locus of control—recognizing that you are the key driver of your path. We’ll dive into the connection between your former, current, and future selves, and how embracing each phase of your journey empowers growth. By using emotions as valuable guideposts, we’ll explore how focusing on self-awareness and self-empowerment sets the stage for meaningful progress. Remember, this isn’t a destination; it’s a continuous journey of growth and transformation.
